J. Summers Perkins Fine Art

In my early childhood, I could be found drawing, sketching, doodling and coloring. I was drawn to art and the appreciation of it and knew that I had a gift that was not my own. I met my future wife at LSU, and she introduced me to painting through one of her art classes. Over the years a steady love for painting kept me learning and growing as an artist. I have recently retired and now have more time to enjoy my painting and find it relaxing and challenging.
